Well fought to the two of our guys that competed on Sunday! 🤜

It was their first time competing, but they still had to fight advanced and black belt level. While they fought in multiple events, both took out second place in Full Contact (bare knuckle, no padding) which was very impressive.

Evan's full contact fight for first place was against a powerhouse of a fighter with a lot of experience. Going head to head and only losing by 1 point in final few seconds. In his fight for second place he demolished the opponent and won easily during the bout.

Edans full contact fight for first place ended in a draw and she fought her black belt opponent (with a lot of competition experience) very effectively, ending in a draw. Unfortunately judges decision went the opponents way due to a couple of early fouls by Eden.

It was a great day, and a good learning experience. Now that we understand the rules a bit better we should go even further the next time!

This day we visited the CST Alumni and Sisuk Peter Wong and Horace Chu (Sigungs son). Always surreal, and uplifting, to visit the place where I spent all those hours training with Sigung during my early Hong Kong visits.

After that we got in short session again with Sisuk Ma.
